- * close any unused credit cards, shred old paper statements
- * sign up for paperless billing with utility companies (electricity, cell phone, cable etc)
- * discard physically large stuff first to make the most visual impact.
- * discard stuff not yours, especially if their owner don't care about them, like kids' school notes and homework from years ago
- * return borrowed stuff
